Transforming Leederville campus: your safety

A number of building projects have commenced at Leederville Campus, which when completed will further transform Leederville into a contemporary and vibrant Campus. The projects include a major upgrade to Student Services and Canteen, The Foundation Housing Oxford Youth Foyer project and upgrade of the airconditioning.

Every effort is being made to minimise the impact of these projects on campus operations it is necessary for everyone to observe the safety measures put in place.   The Campus Safety Committee have identified the following for particular attention:

  • Follow marked footpaths so as to avoid areas where heavy vehicles and plant may be operating
  • Continuing to observe the No Smoking rules, bearing in mind that there are more flammable materials present on a building site and the summer weather conditions will present an additional risk
  • Think of others moving around the campus whose mobility may be compromised or who are visitors or new to the site and therefore require extra help and guidance to get to the right place as quickly and easily as possible
  • Please report any concerns to Security or Student Services staff so that they may be followed up promptly
