Full-time study
Full-time applications to Central TAFE can be made online at www.tafe.wa.edu.au or here.
Step by step instructions for completing the online form are provided covering significant dates, how to send in your supporting documentation, and how and when to pay the application fee.
A paper-based application form for full-time study can be downloaded here. Application forms are also available from any Central TAFE campus or by contacting Student Services on 1300 300 822.
Complete the application form and answer all questions. If you do not, your application may be invalid. Applications must be on the official form and signed by the applicant.
Faxed applications are not acceptable. Only one application form may be submitted per applicant.
Send your application, along with all supporting documentation (see below) directly to:

- or hand it in at any TAFE campus.
For your application to be complete you must include photocopies of:
- All academic records you have received since Year 9.
- Any graduation certificates (including TAFE awards) that you have received. If your qualifications are from overseas you will need to provide Statements of Equivalence.
- Any other results that you want taken into account.
- Written proof (e.g. group certificates) of any work experience you have done.
- If you were not born in Australia, you must supply proof of Australian (or New Zealand) citizenship or proof of permanent Australian residency.
You will receive a letter acknowledging that your application has been received. Please note that this letter is not an offer of a place at Central TAFE. If you have not received this letter within two (2) weeks of submitting your application, phone the TAFE Admissions Centre on 9235 8888 to check that it has been received.
Applicants will be advised of the result of their application by mail. You must bring this letter to the college when you enrol.
- 29 May 2009 for courses requiring submission of a folio
- 10 June 2009 for all other course applications.
Part-time study
Enrolments for part-time study in Semester 2, 2009 will take place during the week of June 29 - July 3.
Enrolments are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Please check specific enrolment times for your course as days, times and locations will vary.
